The Hotelier
Overdone out of tune singing possibly on purpose (?). Somewhat hard edged indie rock.

Addison Rae
Conventional synth based pop. Breathy high voice is the star of the show. Not musically interesting. Lyrics and compositions are mediocre. Extremely attractive person.

SE SO NEON
Korean band with a great singer-songwriter puts out mostly sleek Sade-style jazzy pop.

Margaret Glasby
Good singer, but songs don't grab. Mostly slow acoustic stuff but some full band.

Pearl Scott
Very talented soul singer. Arrangements are nicely spare most of the time. Click here for Apple Music playlist

clipping.
Often intense rap with excellent, original backing tracks from this trio. Apparently they do concept albums that tell stories. Click here for Apple Music playlist

Yung Gravy
Funny and entertaining rap-pop with excellent, catchy soul-infused backing tracks. Often explicit and probably offensive to some listeners. Click here for Apple Music playlist

Napoleon Da Legend
Decent rapper but mixes aren't anything special and rhymes seem thrown together almost randomly. Explicit.

Cage The Elephant
Perhaps their biggest his is "Aint No Rest for the Wicked." Artsy pop in the same veiun as Foster the People, with similar tinny vocals.

Our Last Night
Yet another Blink 182 copycat band, but these guys can play, the melodies are there, and the vocals are good. Been putting out albums since 2008, so large catalog.

Russian Circles
Heavy, mostly instrumental, almost proggy rock jams. Lots of distortion and echo. Kind of monotonous.

Pulp
New Wave style British band that started in the '80s but didn't get famous until the '90's. Now they're touring with a pretty good new album out. Every song seems to be about old girlfriends.
