Very echo-laden pop that is often based on 1950's style song structures and melodies. Almost David Lynch-like in that respect. The vocals get buried in the mix as in the shoegaze genre. Enough with the echo already! There are really good songs hidden underneath all that crap. Check out "Gilded Lily."

Tennis

Pop aiming for layered elegance. Husband and wife duo. Upper range female vocals, sort of Kate Bush-like. Could use more high end on the production.

Sam Greenfield

Refreshingly different -- mostly instrumental, uptempo soul-pop grooves with lots of horns and great bass playing. Mr. Greenfield is a sax player and composer.
