Keyboard centric indie pop with good, soulful vocals and meaningful lyrics. Most recent album has a ditinctly '80s feel. From Montreal.

British trio doing well executed power pop. Good lyrics.

Out of tune post-grunge fuzzy power pop with lifeless vocals. From Boston.

Ho-hum slower tempo raps that sound a little like Snoop.

Australian guy does mostly uptempo pop with little flavors of folk and blues and similar genres. Good lightly scratchy voice. Might be too much echo in the production.

Guitar-noodle-riff alternative rock. The thin timbre vocals may be an acquired taste, but we like them fine. Sense of humor.

This may seem like a stretch, but if Public Image Limited were an American punk rock band, they might sound like Home Is Where, with their droning scream-talk vocals and lengthy, oddly enjoyable grooves. If you don't believe us check out "Floral Organs." We couldn't find a single bridge - just verses and choruses, with choruses often being just an extension of the verse. Uniquely themselves. Formula that never works for alt/indie post-punk boy bands: Annoyingly overdone noodley guitars paired with adolescent out of tune vocals. Very poor production and mixing. Click here for Apple Music playlist

Long-time Finnish band creates cheesy prog rock alternating between acoustic and heavy metal parts. Mostly midtempo but last album (2024) is berserk speedy.

Delicate, quiet, sensitive acoustic folk with nice vocals.

If you like Beck's mellower, contemplative tracks, you may also like Westerman's artsy pop, full of echoes and watercolor lyrics.

Fine country-folk. Nice twangy voice. Some pretty funky tracks, too ("Sleepin' in the Woods").
