Boston band formed at Berklee! Interesting, surprising, musically aspiring compositions with a dash of quirkiness and a tsunami of atmosphere. Wonderful singer and multi-instrumentalist Courtney Swain holds forth and dominates each song with her 100% original delivery. The band surrounding her is adept and versatile. A bunch of albums out to pour through.

Nduduzo Makhathini

Very cool, creative, listenable jazz from a South African multi-instrumentalist. Very well produced. Mostly instrumental, but some great vocals too. Not too jazz-crazy for those of you who get turned off by discordant or overly noodley jazz.

Spectacularly original alt pop. Musically rich. Piano based, with frequent staccato. Lyrically deep and evocative. Fresh voice.
