Very cool, creative, listenable jazz from a South African multi-instrumentalist. Very well produced. Mostly instrumental, but some great vocals too. Not too jazz-crazy for those of you who get turned off by discordant or overly noodley jazz.
Spectacularly original alt pop. Musically rich. Piano based, with frequent staccato. Lyrically deep and evocative. Fresh voice.

Listening to her songs is like looking at abstract paintings where there's just enough definition to make out shapes or figures but you're not really sure what is being depicted. Evocative, intellectual, electronic based tunes with cryptic yet vivid lyrics. Powerful performer. Very NYC.
